We developed our own shock absorber, but we brought in the most qualified people to do it. Strojírny and then Zbrojovka Březnice developed and produced shock absorbers for Jawa motorcycles for decades, and it is their know-how and technology that is behind the development of the shock absorber for our trailers, which we called KF Jawa.
The shock absorber has a thinner spring than conventional spring shock absorbers, which is nevertheless capable of “ironing” both almost zero load (of course, the weight of the trailer must be taken into account, so zero in the true sense of the word is never the case) and weight up to 35 kg.
By adjusting the ring you change its preload, and thus gradually get to the approximate weight ranges of 0 – 10 kg, 10 – 20 kg, 20 – 25 kg, 25 kg and more (max 35 kg).
